Portfolio Manager
Krishen Sud is the Managing Member of Sivik and the Portfolio Manager of the Sivik Global Healthcare Funds and its predecessor funds Argus Healthcare Funds since their inception in 2001. Prior to forming Sivik, Krishen was the Portfolio Manager of the Galleon Healthcare Funds where he built and managed the firm’s healthcare funds to $1.5 billion in assets from the firm’s inception in 1997 to his departure in 2001. From 1990 to 1996, Krishen worked at Needham & Company, an investment bank focused on the technology and healthcare industries. At Needham & Company, he was a Managing Director and Head of Healthcare Research. Krishen managed a 10-person research and banking team, provided equity research for healthcare service companies, and managed the healthcare investments of the Needham Emerging Growth Fund which had total assets of approximately $250 million. Prior to joining Needham, Krishen was a Vice President in Investment Banking at Smith Barney. Krishen is a graduate of Sydenham College, University of Bombay, and received an M.B.A. in finance from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania in May 1983 where he was on the Director’s Honor List (top 3% of all students).
